Why Don't We Finish More Games?

Slashdot Games Story | Why Don’t We Finish More Games?

The comments are better than the article. Sort of brings up the larger question of how we sort through and prioritize the ridiculous amount of information we encounter, and how the people/things we rely upon to do this for us are subject to manipulation or simply having a different opinion than your own. I only finish games that engage me, most often with an immersive story, environment, and set of characters. Funny, because back in the day it wasn’t possible to finish a game, and now a game doesn’t end once the credits come on; there are achievements and DLC.
