Has anyone else had the experience that every picture seems to look better in black and white? I was under the impression that I liked color, but before I’m done editing an image I usually try it out in black and white and it usually looks better. I’m sure there is some deep physiological and possibly psychological underpinning to this particular aesthetic taste.
Future idea: take a picture of a building and accentuate the blood-vessel-like vines crawling up it.
Anyway, I like the corner and the zig zags.

If you can find some real 35mm infared film and take the same picture. It’s even better using infared and a polorizing filter. Good luck.
P>S> The B&W makes you use your imagination to “see” the color.
