This is an entrant in Jay is Games’ 6th annual Casual Gameplay Design Competition out of 16 other entries. The theme of this year’s contest was “explore”, which is exactly what you do in Small Worlds. Slightly spooky music and interesting graphics create a game that is larger than the sum of each pixel.
Update: Clearly stringanomaly.com readers have good taste. Small Worlds won the competition, making a total of $1,500. Hopefully the creator, Dave Shute, has some more games on the way.
