Dead End Thrills is a blog devoted to videogame photography. Honestly, some of the photos and game choices are not great, but the idea is brilliant and I’m aware of the dedication that the author puts in to customizing the game engine to get the best results. Having an option to download for print media is awesome on at least two levels.
The site used to have many more images, but for some reason they have disappeared. The 404 page is the best place to look through what is left.
Anyway, a high resolution set of 150 Mirror’s Edge photos was recently posted. Looking through them, it is amazing how such a stylized world very different from our own can look so coherent and normal.
